Unlimited Training Professional Development Programmes / Corporate Entertainment Events :   What’s the difference ?

Professional Development Programmes are designed to help businesses improve their ‘PEP’ ie. People, Efficiency and Profit. Increased PEP leads to increased productivity, motivation, job security, enjoyment of work, and job satisfaction.

Corporate Entertainment Events offer an opportunity for groups to enjoy themselves and socialise outside of their regular day to day work place context. These events may be a reward for hard work, an opportunity to see team members in a different environment, a Christmas or other holiday treat, or merely a fun day out.

Unlimited Training Professional Development Programmes -  How Client’s Objectives are addressed

Individuals and teams (the People ‘P’) within businesses can often achieve successful results over a short time period, or can demonstrate competencies over the short term. It’s only when this level of success can be demonstrated repeatedly and under increasing pressure that a business achieves sustained Efficiency and increased Profit - The ‘PEP’ Principle. U/T programmes enable employees and organisations to achieve this success through interesting and stimulating training programmes that involve tutor led sessions, discussion, group work, practical exercises, feedback & review and post course action planning

Programme Design
With any training programme the best way to ensure that your requirements are met is for you to clearly identify the specific competencies / objectives that you want a programme to address and then we’ll design a course. Of course each client’s needs differ so rather than using an ‘off the shelf
package’ each programme or event is tailor made to meet each client’s specific requirements. We’ll then run the outline programme past you and you can check to see if it meets your needs and make any amendments as necessary.

Where do Programmes Take Place ?

Programmes run from the client’s own training facilities if available, or from hotels, conference centres or dedicated training venues anywhere in the UK, or further afield if that suits !

Rob Pugh is the lead trainer of U/T and we also draw on a network of experienced associates when required

Review Methods
Although an important part of U/T developmental training programmes is fun and enjoyment, participating in these programmes does not automatically equate to learning about the associated competencies. Therefore an essential part of any programme is the review process. Comprehensive reviewing is used and reinforced where relevant with theoretical models and business strategies. These reviews examine, for example, individual effectiveness and contribution, team focus and dynamics and explore the metaphors that any exercises have been designed to represent. This helps to reinforce the key learning points, strengthens the relationship between the programme and the workplace, and facilitates the important element of transfer of learning.

The reviewing style used ensures that discussion and ideas are generated by delegates thereby
ensuring a greater retention of information and an ownership of key outcomes. Delegates will take an ever increasing responsibility for their own reviewing and for giving feedback which encourages self-directed learning and development.

Application back at work – Improving your ‘PEP’

A key element of any development programme are the learning outcomes that can be applied effectively back at work. Discussion takes place with the client during the design phase to assess the amount of post-programme action planning that is needed, and to ensure that action planning is realistic, achievable and sustainable.
